Peter Crichton, a Top Ten Gold Coast Photographer, studied his craft at "Photography Studies College of Melbourne". He worked as a photographer for a Melbourne advertising company while shooting weddings for a  wedding photography studio on weekends, of which his favourite celebrity weddings were Hugh Jackman & Debra-Lee Furness.  After Moving to the Gold Coast in 1996, his plan was to build a professional team of photographers that specialise only in wedding & portrait photography.
 
Today he has a modern studio and three key photographers: Laraine Crane, Hannah Lowien & Jenna Martine, together with some assistant photographers. These three people have helped Peter build a respected and professional studio, winning Australian Bridal Industry Accreditation awards: Finalist for best wedding photographer, six times from 1999 to 2008. Peter Crichton Photography is also a credited member of AIPP.
